A business energy assessment is a no-cost evaluation of your facility that identifies opportunities to reduce energy use, lower operating costs, and improve equipment performance. An energy expert will review your building, equipment, and operations and provide recommendations tailored to your business.
Yes. Eligible Avangrid business customers can receive a no-cost energy assessment with no obligation to move forward with recommended upgrades.
Most commercial and industrial facilities are eligible, including offices, retail stores, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, and warehouses. Eligibility and available measures may vary based on your facility type, energy usage, and utility service.
Incentives may be available for energy-efficient lighting, HVAC systems, refrigeration, motors, controls, compressed air systems, and other custom energy-saving improvements. Incentive amounts vary depending on the project and expected energy savings.
An energy efficiency representative will contact you to discuss your facility, confirm eligibility, and schedule your energy assessment. After the assessment, you’ll receive recommendations, estimated savings, and information about available incentives and next steps.
